Conard is 9-0-1 against Northwest Catholic since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Red Wolves will host the Lions at 3:45 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Conard and eight for Northwest Catholic.

Conard managed to slip by Simsbury the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Wolves came up short against the Trojans on Friday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Conard can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 77th, while Simsbury are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, Northwest Catholic fell victim to Avon and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Falcons.

Northwest Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Conard, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1.

Conard took their victory against Northwest Catholic in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 6-1 score. Will the Red Wolves repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
