Lynden has gone a perfect 5-0 against Mt. Baker recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mountaineers at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Lynden's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three contests.

Lynden will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Bellingham, who they had gone 1-7-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Lions put the hurt on the Bayhawks with a sharp 4-1 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Lynden, who have now won four matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mt. Baker scored the most goals they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 10-2 to Burlington-Edison. Mt. Baker haven't had much luck with Burlington-Edison recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lynden picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-1-1. As for Mt. Baker, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Lynden beat Mt. Baker by a goal in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 1-0. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Mountaineers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
