Jersey Village had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Cypress Falls Eagles 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since March 9, 2024.

Daniel Trejo looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nathan Ultis, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of David Castillo Guerra, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Jersey Village's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Cypress Falls, they now have a losing record of 8-9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jersey Village will head out to face off against Cypress Park at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cypress Falls, they will challenge Stratford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
