Softball Recap: Southeastern Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Southeastern's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Gulf Shores Dolphins on Saturday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Mustangs, who until this match were averaging 3.79 runs allowed.

Southeastern is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8. As for Gulf Shores, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-13-1 record this season.

Southeastern wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-0 victory against Susan Moore on the 1st. As for Gulf Shores, they have also already played their next match, a 6-3 win against Satsuma on the 3rd.
