James Monroe had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Summit Christian Academy Falcons. With that win, the Mavericks brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Cameron Crislip was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Brycen Parker was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

James Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Summit Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
