Baseball Recap: Krum Takes a Loss

Krum has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.95 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 11-1 to the Kennedale Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Bobcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Krum moved to 15-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Kennedale, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.

Coming up, Krum will head out on the road to take on Ranchview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kennedale, they will challenge Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsboro has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something Kennedale will no doubt try to take advantage of.
