Lincoln-Way Central waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 46-37 victory over the Sandburg Eagles. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Eagles are ranked 236th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lincoln-Way Central's win bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Sandburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-16 record this season.

Coming up, Lincoln-Way Central will venture away from home to take on Romeoville at 7:30 p.m. on February 26th. Sandburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
