Basketball Recap: Community Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Conner Bowman and Luke Fagan

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Community Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 58-48 to the Pleasant View Christian Bulldogs on Saturday.

Community Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Fagan, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 15 points, and Conner Bowman, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 10 points and seven rebounds. Fagan is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Community Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Pleasant View Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Community Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasant View Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-44 defeat against Calvary Christian on the 22nd.
