Soccer Recap: Lincolnton Comes Up Short

Lincolnton managed to slip by Pine Lake Prep the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Wolves lost 3-0 to the Pride on Tuesday. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Lincolnton it sure didn't stay that way.

Lincolnton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Pine Lake Prep, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincolnton will host Bessemer City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pine Lake Prep, they will challenge Queen's Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pine Lake Prep are facing Queen's Grant at the right time seeing as Queen's Grant are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
