Volleyball Recap: Lutheran East Takes a Loss

Lutheran East had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 1-7 to make it 11. They lost 3-0 to the Cornerstone Christian Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

As for Cornerstone Christian, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Ashley Hansen had a dynamite game, getting 12 aces and six digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024.

Lutheran East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will be playing at home against Westside Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
