If Trinity Christian was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Langston Hughes last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions fell just short of the Dutchtown Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Trinity Christian's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Kathryn Andrews and Libby Clarke scored both of Trinity Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Dutchtown, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will square off against Johns Creek at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Dutchtown, they will challenge Mary Persons at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. Mary Persons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Dutchtown surely won't give up without a fight.
