Soccer Recap: KIPP Austin Brave Extends Winning Streak to Five

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask KIPP Austin Brave). They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Valor South Austin Falcons on Saturday. With the Eagles ahead 5-1 at the half, the match was all but over already.

The victory was the fifth in a row for KIPP Austin Brave, bringing their record for this year to 5-6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five games. As for Valor South Austin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. KIPP Austin Brave will host Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Valor South Austin will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on IDEA Montopolis at 4:30 p.m. on March 26th.
