Football Recap: Parchment Comes Up Short

Parchment was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 31-14 to the Berrien Springs Shamrocks. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Shamrocks are ranked 156th).

Parchment's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Berrien Springs, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Parchment will face off against Watervliet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give Parchment their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Berrien Springs, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
