Basketball Recap: Deer Valley Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Deer Valley had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 71-57 victory over the Cactus Shadows Falcons on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Skyhawks.

Cactus Shadows' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trey Chemin, who posted 17 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Terrell Fair, who scored 12 points and five rebounds.
