Football Recap: Flowery Branch Wins Going Away Against Walnut Grove

Flowery Branch barely beat Walnut Grove the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons blew past the Warriors 49-28 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Brett Strum produced another solid performance throwing for 366 yards and two touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 75 yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (147.4). Tre Shields was in the mix as well, providing Flowery Branch with two TDs.

Flowery Branch's record now sits at 6-2. As for Walnut Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3.
