Football Game Preview: Silverton Foxes vs. West Albany Bulldogs

The Silverton Foxes will head out on the road to square off against the West Albany Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Silverton will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Silverton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Central on Friday as they made off with a 44-21 victory. With the Foxes ahead 38-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Chase Dominguez and Nash Moser were among the main playmakers for Silverton as the former rushed for 52 yards and one score on only five carries and the latter rushed for 47 yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Silverton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 232 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central only rushed for 57.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 33 points the game before, West Albany was a bit more limited in their game last Friday. They fell 13-7 to Lebanon. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Silverton's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for West Albany, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

Silverton beat West Albany 44-34 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Will the Foxes repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
