Volleyball Recap: Coral Springs Charter Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Coral Springs Charter couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Saint Andrew's Scots on Tuesday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Scots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.

Hailey McMillan paced Coral Springs Charter's offense, picking up eight kills. McMillan got some help from Olivia Greco and her 12 assists. Samantha McMillan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The loss snapped Coral Springs Charter's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 16-8 record. As for Saint Andrew's, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 16-8.

Coral Springs Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saint Andrew's, they will challenge Pine Crest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
