Recap: St. Anthony Trojans vs. Tenor
The St. Anthony Trojans lost against Tenor back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. St. Anthony took a 65-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tenor. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Anthony in their matchups with Tenor: they've now lost three in a row.
Tenor was led to victory by Quintyn Robinson and Kyrell Davis. Robinson scored 21 points, while Davis scored 26 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Robinson has scored at least 25% of Tenor's points. Another player making a difference was Marquell Robinson, who scored nine points.
St. Anthony has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Tenor, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
St. Anthony will be playing at home against Milwaukee Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tenor's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Francis at 7:15 p.m. on January 11th. St. Francis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Tenor likes a good challenge.
