Softball Recap: Granite Hills Takes a Loss

Granite Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastlake Titans. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 30, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Taylor Nash led a balanced group of hitters, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Alexis Mujica also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Granite Hills' record is now 2-5-1. As for Eastlake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Granite Hills will head out on the road to take on Del Norte at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastlake, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Rancho Buena Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
