Softball Recap: Raritan Has No Trouble Against Freehold Boro

Raritan had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Freehold Boro on Wednesday. The Rockets blew past the Colonials 14-3. This was payback for the Rockets, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Raritan's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Freehold Boro, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Raritan and Freehold Boro will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rockets are set to face off against their familiar foe Shore Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Freehold Boro will square off against rival Ocean Township at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
