Softball Recap: Grandview Extends Winning Streak to Five

Grandview barely beat Stephenville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Grandview Zebras put the hurt on the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees with a sharp 11-1 win on Friday. The Zebras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by nine runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Grandview's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Stephenville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6-1.

Grandview will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Scurry-Rosser at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Stephenville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against China Spring at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
