Baseball Recap: Yazoo City Comes Up Short

Yazoo City lost against Cleveland Central back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians lost 19-5 to the Wolves.

Yazoo City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McKinley Edwards, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Yazoo City's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Cleveland Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Yazoo City will challenge Canton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cleveland Central, they will face off against Lake Cormorant at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
