Preview: Rim of the World Fighting Scots vs. Carter Lions
The Rim of the World Fighting Scots will head out on the road to face off against the Carter Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rim of the World will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, Rim of the World didn't have too much trouble with Bloomington at home as they won 53-39.
Rim of the World's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jackson Urquiza, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Urquiza has scored at least 25% of Rim of the World's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Paxton, who scored 8 points along with 7 steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Carter, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-41 loss to Fontana on Tuesday. Carter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Their wins bumped Rim of the World to 4-4 and Bloomington to 6-4.
