Volleyball Recap: Ava Kuchar Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Crofton

Battle Creek won the last time they faced Crofton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Braves walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Braves as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Battle Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Kuchar, who had four digs and two aces.

Despite the loss, Crofton still got an impressive performance from Karoline Schendt, who had seven digs and two assists.

Battle Creek's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Crofton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Battle Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Wisner-Pilger on the 25th. As for Crofton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Norfolk Catholic on Tuesday.
