Soccer Game Preview: Richfield vs. Canyon View

Richfield hasn't had much luck against Canyon View recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wildcats will host the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Richfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Last Friday, Richfield was able to grind out a solid win over North Sanpete, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for Richfield in their matchups with North Sanpete: they've now won five in a row.

Tanner Olson and Aiden Olsen scored all three of Richfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Meanwhile, Canyon View's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Carbon, falling 4-1. The defeat continues a trend for Canyon View in their meetings with Carbon: they've now lost nine in a row.

Canyon View's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Richfield, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-4.
