Pine Creek will need to focus on slowing down Zay Thurman, one of several Vista Ridge players who made an impact when they last played. He posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Zayden Stevens, who put up nine points.

Even though they lost, Vista Ridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Pine Creek pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. As for Vista Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Pine Creek didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Vista Ridge in their previous meeting two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 52-46 victory.
