Basketball Recap: Homer Trojans vs. Union City Chargers
If Homer was feeling good fresh off their 76-26 takedown of Pansophia Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Homer Trojans fell 64-51 to the Union City Chargers on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost three in a row.
Leading Union City to victory were Elijah Payne and Aidan Decker. Payne went 8-for-14 en route to 23 points and five rebounds, while Decker almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.
