Basketball Recap: Milford Takes a Loss

Milford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 58-30 loss at the hands of the Smyrna Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Eagles are ranked second).

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Smyrna, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Milford has already played their next matchup, a 44-29 defeat against Sussex Tech on the 6th. As for Smyrna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-46 win against Polytech on the 6th.
