Soccer Game Preview: Nimitz vs. Spring

The Nimitz Cougars will face off against the Spring Lions at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Nimitz's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, neither Nimitz nor Benjamin Davis could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Dekaney.

Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. With that draw, Nimitz's record moves to 1-5-3.
