Softball Recap: Harrisburg Comes Up Short

Harrisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-5 to the Susquehanna Township HANNA. On the bright side, the five- run performance marked the Cougars' highest-scoring game to date.

Harrisburg saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amia Hall, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Those hits were Hall's first of the season. Bryanni Green was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Harrisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Susquehanna Township, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Harrisburg will square off against Steelton-Highspire at 5:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Susquehanna Township, they will venture away from home to take on Middletown at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
