Soccer Recap: Monache Comes Up Short

Monache was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Golden West Trailblazers, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Golden West this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on January 7th.

Monache's loss dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Golden West, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Monache is set to challenge their familiar foe El Diamante at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Golden West will square off against rival Mt. Whitney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
