Baseball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

Foothill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pleasant Valley Vikings, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-2 on Thursday.

Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Pleasant Valley, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Foothill beat the Vikings by a score of 8-0 on Friday.
