Basketball Recap: North Rowan Comes Up Short

North Rowan was the 48-21 winner over North Stanly when they last played one another back in January of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The North Rowan Cavaliers were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 36-35 to the North Stanly Comets. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, North Rowan still got an impressive performance from Dasia Elder, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Krisstyle Stockton, who put up seven points.

North Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for North Stanly, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

North Rowan is taking a road trip to challenge East Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. East Rowan will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something North Rowan surely won't give up without a fight. North Stanly has already played their next match (against South Stanly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
