Volleyball Recap: West Chicago Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Chicago can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the St. Charles East Fighting Saints on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Fighting Saints: they've now lost three in a row.

West Chicago's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for St. Charles East, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-11 record this season.

West Chicago does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Charles East, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wheaton-Warrenville South on the 29th.
