Baseball Recap: Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Catholic Central was the 5-1 winner over Lowell when they last played one another back in April of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 14-11 to the Red Arrows on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly three runs.

Catholic Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Lowell, their win bumped their record up to 4-1-1.

Coming up, Catholic Central will challenge Byron Center at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lowell, they will venture away from home to square off against Northview at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
