Basketball Recap: Morristown-Hamblen West Comes Up Short

Morristown-Hamblen West lost against Science Hill back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans fell to the Science Hill Hilltoppers 66-60. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Hilltoppers are ranked 29th).

Morristown-Hamblen West's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Science Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morristown-Hamblen West will host Campbell County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Science Hill, they will face off against Daniel Boone at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Science Hill is facing Daniel Boone at the right time seeing as Daniel Boone is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
