Football Recap: Hickory Ridge Takes a Loss

Hickory Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 56-7 loss at the hands of the Mooresville Blue Devils. The Ragin' Bulls lost against the Blue Devils in their previous head to head back in September of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 42-35 score last time.

Hickory Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mooresville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Hickory Ridge has already played their next game, a 32-27 loss against South Iredell on the 4th. As for Mooresville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 18-6 victory against Providence on the 4th.
