Softball Recap: New Braunfels Christian Academy Comes Up Short

New Braunfels Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 20-4 to the Holy Cross Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 two weeks ago.

New Braunfels Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Holy Cross, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5-1 record this season.

New Braunfels Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Geneva at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Cross, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-4 victory against Saint Mary's Hall on the 15th.
