Recap: Perry Commodores vs. Hardin Northern Polar Bears
In what's become a running theme this season, the Perry Commodores gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 52-31 margin over Hardin Northern. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Perry has posted yet this season.
Despite the loss, Hardin Northern saw an underclassman step up: Alaina Thomas dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Thomas is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Perry has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Hardin Northern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry will square off against Continental at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Continental comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Hardin Northern, they will head out on the road to challenge Temple Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
