Basketball Recap: Lake Orion Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

On Saturday, the Lake Orion Dragons lost to the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets at home by a 62-43 margin. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Eaglets are ranked 32nd).

Lake Orion's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for St. Mary's Prep, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lake Orion has already played their next contest (against Renaissance), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Mary's Prep is taking a road trip to square off against Divine Child at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
