After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort White, Hamilton County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Jefferson County Tigers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hamilton County's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Moody, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Joshua Garcia was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hamilton County's victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1. As for Jefferson County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Hamilton County will take on Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bradford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Jefferson County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson County is facing Munroe at the right time seeing as Munroe is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
