Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Snags Tenth Win in Last 13 Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calumet Christian, Victory Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against Tournament Opponent by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against Tournament Opponent back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Victory Christian Academy's offense was headlined by Elle Thomae and Violet Stucky, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Ava Buckland and her 15 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Victory Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Victory Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Arthur-Okaw Christian on the 17th. As for Tournament Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against LKY on the 17th.
