Softball Recap: Prairie du Chien Blackhawks vs. Iowa-Grant Panthers
There's no place like home for Prairie du Chien, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Iowa-Grant Panthers 8-1 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Blackhawks, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Claire Kennedy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
