Basketball Recap: Starmont Comes Up Short

Starmont lost against Anamosa back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Starmont Stars took a blow against the Anamosa Raiders, falling 65-28. The Stars' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 17 in a row.

Starmont's record now sits at 1-17. As for Anamosa, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-7 record.

Starmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 77-15 loss against Edgewood-Colesburg on the 31st. Anamosa has also already played their next game, a 55-17 defeat against Camanche on the 31st.
