Pine Hill won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Pine Hill never let Northwest on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 27-25.

Kirra Smith paced Pine Hill's offense, picking up seven kills. Smith got some help from Chenille Martinez and her 22 assists. Alaz Jymison controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The win got Pine Hill back to even at 9-9. As for Northwest, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pine Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Tse' Yi' Gai at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northwest will face off against rival To'hajiilee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
