Basketball Game Preview: West Caldwell Warriors vs. East Burke Cavaliers

West Caldwell is 0-10 against East Burke since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The West Caldwell Warriors will host the East Burke Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m.

West Caldwell came up short against Bandys on Friday, falling 50-30. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 460th, while the Trojans are ranked 166th).

Meanwhile, East Burke waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They really took it to the Rebels for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-15 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-10.

East Burke's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.0 points per game. As for West Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
