Softball Recap: Trinity Catholic Comes Up Short

Trinity Catholic lost to The First Academy back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Celtics lost 8-2 to the Royals. The Celtics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity Catholic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Jordan Koehn also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Trinity Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for The First Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Catholic will square off against Crystal River at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for The First Academy, they will take on Harmony at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
