Basketball Recap: Pru Mangan's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fieldcrest over Pontiac + How To Watch

Fieldcrest lost against Pontiac back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights took a 39-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Fieldcrest lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Pru Mangan, who posted 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of TeriLynn Timmerman, who scored nine points and five steals.

Fieldcrest's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Pontiac, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fieldcrest and Roanoke-Benson will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Pontiac, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
