Baseball Recap: Aubrey Rogers Falls Short of Avon Park in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Aubrey Rogers can now relate to. They fell just short of the Avon Park Red Devils by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.

Aubrey Rogers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Avon Park, they will square off against Bishop Verot at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
