Volleyball Recap: Chambers Comes Up Short

Chambers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Huss Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2015.

Chambers' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Huss, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chambers will host Garinger at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huss, they will face off against Kings Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mountaineers will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight.
